Schoolhouse Supplies, an award-winning nonprofit, has distributed more than $16.7 million in school supplies to children and classrooms in-need since 2000. Programming supports public education and gives kids greater access to learning by providing free school supplies.
Stocked with supplies donated by businesses and individuals from the community, the volunteer-run Free Store for Teachers is a resource haven for teachers who often pay more than $1,700 of their own money to supply students with the essentials needed to succeed in class. Because of the partnership with the KGW School Supply Drive, and community members like you, Schoolhouse Supplies is able to distribute supplies to school districts in and around the Portland Metro area, reaching kids in classrooms at the beginning of the year when they need it most.
